NESCPC Training Needs Analysis
 

The North East of Scotland Child Protection Committee (NESCPC) provides a range of multi/inter agency child protection training sessions, and has produced a questionnaire to assist with the planning of their programme for the first block of training sessions in 2009.

Are you interested in the Chartered Teacher, or Leadership in Professional Settings Programmes?

If you're keen to find out more about becoming a Chartered Teacher, or if you would like information on Leadership in Professional Settings (the replacement to the SQH), then please come along to an information sharing session, on Tuesday 18th November, 4.00pm to 5.30pm, at Summerhill Centre.

If you're thinking about embarking on either of these programmes in the near future, or if you have just a passing interest and would like to know a little more, then this session is for you. The directors of both programmes from Aberdeen University will be presenting information and answering your questions, and details of available support and funding for the leadership programme will also be available.

Earth Science Education - Free CPD workshops for secondary schools

ESEU is the Earth Science Education Unit, based in the School of Public Policy and Professional Practice at Keele University, and is a national provider of  INSET in Earth science to UK teachers and trainee teachers.

In Scotland, the Unit offers two-hour modular workshops provided singly or as half-day or full-day complementary modules delivered by a Scottish ESEU facilitator. The workshops are free of charge and CPD (Schools) would cover the cost of the facilitator's travel expenses.
