Free EU Resources
The 'EU in slides' is a new product
published by DG COMM. It is a choice of PP
slides outlining the basics of what the EU
is and how it works. They are intended as a
flexible aid for teachers and others to give
presentations and speeches about the EU.
Users can easily combine these slides with
their own slides. They are open for editing,
so any of our multipliers can re-use
illustrations, graphs or the template.

Proposals for new structure
Dear Colleagues
Please find below draft structure proposals
for consultation. You will note that these
proposals are at strategic level and give an
indication of the proposed shape of the new
directorates. The models shown are a 5
director model and a 6 director model. I
have discussed this with Trades Union
colleagues who know that this information is
being posted on the Zone today (04 Feb 09).
I have taken account of the views expressed
to me through staff briefings, the survey,
and on an ad hoc basis by staff and I hope
that you find that these proposals reflect
your views so far.
I would be grateful if you could remit any
comments back to either your directors or to
me directly by email or in writing and of
course you can make your comments known via
your TU rep if you prefer.
Thank you
Sue Bruce
