The Aberdeen City Council Learning and Teaching Policy Statement was approved at the December Policy and Strategy (Education) Committee. The policy statement is detailed below with a link to the whole document including the background and planned further work.

This is a high level policy statement which will be followed up by a series of sub sections with more detailed policy guidance involving all key stakeholders to develop a robust and detailed educational policy and supporting material such as research evidence and examples of good practice where appropriate.

This work will be undertaken by a small short life working group.
