SCOTLAND'S ANTI-BULLYING SERVICE
respectme, is a
Scottish
Anti-Bullying Service. Their
website
can be visited
at
www.respectme.org.uk.
It is designed to help with the
practical skills and guidance to deal with bullying
wherever it occurs. It provides information on the
signs that might indicate bullying and the impact that this can have on children
and young people. It also offers guidance on
developing and reviewing anti-bullying policies and
includes a calendar of training events.
THE ANTIBULLYING NETWORK
The Anti-Bullying Network was established at the
University of Edinburgh in 1999 and gained a
reputation for the high quality of the services it
provided to school communities. A demand clearly
continues to exist for these services. And thus The
Anti-Bullying Network relaunched in October 2007 as
a not-for-profit company and is now a registered
Scottish charity. The
website at
www.antibullying.net has lots of useful information.
