School Link |
An
exciting new web based initiative,
School Link has been developed for primary school children and teachers who
would like to learn more about the lives of children in other countries. It
provides an excellent insight into life in another part of the world.
On the website, you can download lesson plans (developed by experienced
teachers for Save the Children) and pupils can access real life stories
written by the children, their everyday lives, what they do, like and think;
the site also contains interactive games and background info and photographs
from Pakistan.
As well as accessing creative educational resources, participating
primary schools are invited to support Friendship Friday - a national
fundraising event that will take place in May 2006. Really simple and easy
to run, Save the Children will provide the school with all they will need to
carry out the activity.
