update the network on this project which has been run from Aberdeen on
behalf of the Scottish Government. The project finishes at the end

this scheme which is targeted at school leavers who wish a career in

Leader, Barnardo's will talk to us about the Young Runaways'
Service (a partnership between Barnardo's and Grampian Police She
will tell us about what they do, how to refer, and about a magazine they
are publishing that will hopefully be distributed to all S3 pupils next
session. |

The future of the Aberdeen Guidance Network |
In the light of cutbacks in the authority, there will be
no cover provided for Network meetings in the future, although there
will still be a total of four and a half days for development work and
for coordination of the network if required. We need to discuss
how this will affect meetings of the Aberdeen Guidance Network. |
